The funeral
service for Alda Mae
Banks, age 95, will be
at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday,
November 28, 2007, at
the Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home Chapel,
with Rev. Floyd Westfall
officiating. Burial
will be 11:00 A.M.
Thursday in the Memorial
Park Cemetery in
Oklahoma City, with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
She was born
to Milton and Katherine
Yeary on April 16, 1912,
in Pauls Valley,
Oklahoma, and died
Sunday, November 25,
2007, in Enid.
Alda grew up
in Pauls Valley. In
1932, she married Frank
McMongile in Newkirk,
and they made their home
at the 101 Ranch until
1937, when they moved to
Ponca City. She later
lived in Edmond, where
she was employed at
Oklahoma Christian
College in the cafeteria
for several years. Alda
moved to Enid in 1987.
She was a member of
Trinity Baptist Church.
She is
survived by three sons,
Conrad McMonigle and
wife Pam of Enid, Dan
McMonigle of
Collinsville, and Tom
McMonigle and wife Jenny
of Edmond; one daughter
Janett Barker and
husband Clarence of
Enid; nine
grandchildren; ten
great-grandchildren; and
four great, great
grandchildren.
Alda was
preceded in death by her
three husbands, son Pat
McMonigle, two
grandsons, Ty McMonigle
and Robbie Barker, two
brothers, and four
sisters.
Memorials
