The funeral service
for Elmer Fulson “Chick”
Anderson, age 83, will
be at 2:00 PM Saturday,
February 27, 2010 at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev.
Matthew Thoms
officiating. Burial
will be in Enid Cemetery
with arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
He was born to Elmer
Fulson and Mae Belle
(Holliday) Anderson on
April 6, 1926, in
Hartshorn, OK, and died
Thursday, February 25,
2010, at his home in
Enid.
He worked on the
railroad, and then at
age 16 went to
California and joined
the United States Navy,
serving in World War
II. He was discharged
on April 11, 1946. He
married Lena DeBoard,
and they had three
daughters. He later
married Loretta Hart and
they had one daughter.
Chick worked as a truck
driver. He retired in
1989 and moved to Enid.
He was a member of the
V.F.W and loved to fish.
Chick is survived by
three daughters, Marian
Smith and husband Larry
of LaMirada, CA,
Stephanie Boswell and
Teresa Fallis and
husband Steve, both of
Enid; twelve
grandchildren; and
twenty-two
great-grandchildren; and
one brother Leroy Milsap
of Hemet, CA
He was preceded in
death by his parents,
one sister and daughter
Leona Ayers on September
12, 2007.
Memorials may be made
through the funeral home
to Calvary Chapel.
