A graveside service for Anna “Ann” Lou Kroll, age 77, will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Fairlawn Cemetery.  Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery north of Comanche, OK, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            She was born to Dallas Mayo and Mamie Lee (Conn) Stanley on October 12, 1929 in Hastings, Oklahoma, and died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Enid.

            She grew up in Duncan, and on July 14, 1948, she married Bob Altenreid.  He worked in the oil fields, so they lived various places including Borger, TX, Houston and then in Oklahoma City.  She was employed with Kuykendall’s Properties in Oklahoma City, managing apartments.  In 1985, she moved to Enid.  Ann was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

            She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Gamble and husband James of Enid, and Patti Serio and husband Joe of Woodward; four grandchildren;  two great-grandchildren; one brother Doris Stanley of Denton, TX; one sister, Wanda Dyer of Comanche, OK; and special friend Doug Clancy.

            Ann was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and three sisters.
