            The funeral for Barbi Jane Zahorsky, 65, will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at West Willow Community Church, with Rev. Don Tines and Rev. Brian Hayes officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

            She was born to Fred Lawson and Lenna Mae (Sundquist) Cashion on May 15, 1942, in Salem, Oregon, and died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

            Barbi grew up in California, and attended elementary school in Arcata, CA.  She graduated from Willow Glen High School in San Jose, CA.  Barbi then attended Pasadena Nazarene College in Pasadena and San Jose City College, where she studied Dental Hygiene.  On May 18, 1987, she married Del Wayne Zahorsky in Lake Tahoe, CA.  They made their home in Enid.  She was a nurse’s aide, and attended West Willow Community Church and Women Aglow.  She loved quilting and was a member of the Quilt Block Bible Study in Waukomis.

            Barbi is survived by her husband Del, of the home; two sons, Gary Zahorsky and wife Cheryl of Kansas City, and Steve Zahorsky and wife Debbie of Dallas; one daughter Debbie Scott and husband Bailey of Shawnee; six grandchildren, Kyle and Taylor Zahorsky, Trace and Krystn McCown, Abby and Ally Scott; one brother Ron Cashion and wife Sandy of Santa Cruz, CA;  one sister Betty Brinley and husband Dwain of Enid; step-mother Modean Cashion of San Jose, CA; two step-sisters, Teri Wooten of San Jose, CA and Shirley Batdorf and husband David of Modesto, CA; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends Dave and Karen Ray of Sallisaw.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lenna Cashion, and son Larry Wayne McCown.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home toWest Willow Community Church.
