            A funeral service for Bobby L. Cramer “Okie Bob” age 79, of Enid, will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2007, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Sherry Shaw officiating.  Burial will follow in the Garber Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

             Bobby was born on November 19, 1927, in rural Garber, Oklahoma, to Joe L. and Maggie Faye (Matteson) Cramer, and died on February 6, 2007, in Enid, Oklahoma at the Golden Oaks Nursing Home.

            Bobby grew up and attended school in Garber; he entered the Army in 1946, where he served one year as a medic.  After his discharge, he returned to the Garber area where he worked most of his adult life in the oil field industry.  Bobby was an avid pool player, he won many top-ranked local competitions.  His other love was getting to spend time outdoors, especially fishing.  Bobby made several trips to the Gulf where he and his brother Joe would go on chartered boats, or they would go to Long Beach, California, and take Bobby’s boat out fishing.

            Bobby is survived by his 4 children;  Joe Cramer of Pawnee, Ok; Steve Cramer of Angleton, Texas; Cheryl Sue Chesnutt of Angleton, Texas; and Alina Gilmore of Phoenix, Arizona; 12 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren;  one brother Joe Cramer of Enid; one sister Ruth Taylor of Spokane, WA.; numerous nieces and nephews including Marion Taylor of Garber, Ok.

            Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, and his older sister.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Hospice Circle of Love.
