The funeral service for Dennis Jay Burris, age 52, will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 19, 2009, at the First Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Dan Barrick officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

     He was born to Floyd and Lois (Cline) Burris on May 29, 1957, in Ponca City, and died Monday, December 14, 2009, in Enid.

     Dennis grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1975.  He served in the United States Air Force.  On July 4, 1980, he married Dianne Hardesty in Enid.  They made their home in Enid, and he worked at Vance Air Force Base in Life Support.  He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Local 898, and Modern Woodmen of America.  Dennis was a hard worker with a quick smile and a helping hand to all.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

     He is survived by his wife Dianne and two daughters, Courtney and Kristin, all of the home; his father Floyd Burris of Enid; one brother Wayne Burris of Enid; one sister Tracey Blunk of Galena, MO.

     Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Lois Burris.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to O.M.R.F. – Heart Division or Life Share.
