Mass of Christian Burial for Frances L. Burshik, 96, of Enid, will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Ratterman as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Hennessey, Oklahoma under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

             Frances was born on February 6, 1914 near Bison, Oklahoma to John and Mary Rose (Janky) Fuksa and died on Friday May 14, 2010 in Enid.

             She grew up on the family farm and attended Catholic School in Bison.  On September 20, 1932, she married Frank Burshik in Bison, Oklahoma.  They made their home on the family farm southeast of Hennessey.  Frances was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

               She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son, David; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Burshik; granddaughter, Lisa Burshik Divis; two brothers, Joe and John Fuksa; three sisters, her twin, Christine Skala, Mary Vculek and Anna Vculek. 

             Frances is survived by her daughters, Delphia Marie Graham of Everett, Washington, and Jean Lee Craig of Stanwood, Washington; 11 grandchildren, 16great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

              Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
