A memorial graveside service for James Ellis Carman, Jr., age 37, will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Memorial Park Garden Chapel, with Rev. Sheila Combs-Francis officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral and Crematory.

     He was born to James E. and Nancy Lee (Cagle) Carman on February 26, 1972, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and died Sunday, February 22, 2009, in a motorcycle accident in Enid.

     He grew up in Enid and attended Enid and Chisholm schools.  He was a stock handler and worked in rodeos.  He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, and rodeos.    

     James is survived by his companion, Monica Sanchez of the home, and his father James E. Carmen and wife Dixie of Wichita, KS.

    He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Shirley Carman.
