A memorial service for Caroline I. Molter, age 96, of Enid, will be at 6:30 P.M. Friday February 22, 2008, at the Golden Oaks Chapel, with Rev. Sue Miers officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings, Montana.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

            She was born to Fred and Mary (Poppy) Becker on September 24, 1911, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and died Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Golden Oaks Nursing Home. 

            Caroline grew up in Marshfield, and graduated from High School there.  On May 7, 1936, she married Theodore Molter in Marshfield, where they made their home.  She was a homemaker, and the couple lived in Wisconsin and Montana.  Theodore passed away in March 1977.  Caroline moved to Enid in April 1995 to be near her daughter.  She was an honorary member of the Carrier Congregational Church.

            She is survived by her daughter, Aurelia Gigoux of Enid; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren.

            Caroline was preceded in death by her husband Theodore; daughter Fay L. Dennis; two brothers, George Becker and Ervin Becker, Sr.; and two sisters, Loretta Nelson and Evelyn Weis.
