A Memorial Service for Arlene Dale Chapman, age 53, of Stillwater, formerly of Enid, will be at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel.  There will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home. 

    She was born on Jan. 26, 1955 in San Antonio, TX, and died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008,  Integris Bass Hospital in Okla. City.

    Arlene grew up in Keyes, OK, graduating from high school there.  She later attended Northwestern University.  On June 1, 1973, she married Jerry W. Chapman in Keyes, where they made their home.  They later lived in Fairview, Alva, Woodward, and then Enid.  Arlene worked as an administrative assistant for various businesses, and was a past member of Enid AM Too Ambucs.  Arlene loved to be near the lake, so on Nov. 1, 2007, they moved to Lake Carl Blackwell.

   She is survived by her husband Jerry of the home; son Shane Chapman and wife Pamela, and children Lance, Amy, Tate & Cheyenne, all of Altus; daughter Shyla Chapman-Rothell and John and children Oaklie, Kolton & Hayden; three brothers, Wayne Monk, Jr. of Salt Lake City, UT, Clifford Monk of Pueblo, CO, and Bobby Strong of Las Vegas, NV; and  three sisters Barbara Monk of Las Vegas, NV,  Diana Lane of Onterio, CA, and Melissa Monk

    Arlene was preceded in death by her step-father Wayne Monk, Sr.
