A memorial service for Clint Andrew Maxey, 25 of Tulsa, formerly of Enid, will be Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Strope officiating.  Arrange-ments are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Clint was born on April 24, 1983 in Enid, Oklahoma to Danny Udeen Maxey and Dawn Nita (Emmons) Maxey and died on August 2, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He grew up in Corsicana, Texas and Enid, OK.   Clint played baseball and basketball growing up.  He loved fishing and spending time with his kids.  He enjoyed spending time outside and was a compassionate person.  At the age of 14, Clint was baptized in Ames, Oklahoma.  He was a welder and lived in Enid and later in Tulsa.

He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers and one grandmother.

He is survived by two children, Andrew Carl Maxey of Dallas, Texas and Angel Destiny Dawn Godfried of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; his mother Dawn Emmons of Enid; his father Danny Maxey and wife Moriah of Enid; his maternal grandmother, Nila Emmons of Enid; one brother Jason Maxey and wife Diedra of Enid; other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Red Cross or the Tulsa Fire Department.
