The funeral for Darlene Beatrice McInturff, 65, will be at 5:00 P.M. Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, at  Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Keith Miller officiating. 

            She was born to David Jacob and Vernice Viola  (Johnson) Wedel on Sept. 15, 1942, in Enid, and died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, in Enid.

            Darlene grew up in Garber and graduated from Garber High School.  On April 22, 1966, she married Christopher McInturff in Enid, and they made their home here.  She was a devoted wife and enjoyed shopping and watching the home shopping network.  Darlene also loved animals.

            She is survived by her husband Christopher of the home; her mother Vernice Wedel of Garber; two sons, Christopher David McInturff and wife Crystal of Stillwater, and Gary Swalve of Enid; two daughters, Christina Dunsworth and husband Gary, and Beth Cunningham and husband Robert, all of Enid; two brothers, Delmer Wedel and wife Konnie of Garber, and Don Wedel and wife Wanda of Ft. Smith, AR.; one sister, Debbie Wanzer and husband Chris of Enid; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

            Darlene was preceded in death by her father and one granddaughter.
