A funeral service for David Cary Morgan, age 68, will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, August 29th, 2006, at First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Marilyn Murray and Rev. Cornelius Pitts officiating. Burial will be in Memorial park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

     David was born to Chris E. and Florence L. (Garis) Morgan on January 22nd, 1938, in Enid, and died Saturday, August 26th, in Enid.

     David grew up in Enid, and graduated from Enid High School in 1957. He dedicated his life's work to that of the Lord, touching the lives of many. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, where he sang in the church choir. He volunteered at Our Daily Bread, Meals on Wheels, and other various missions.

     He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Bailey and husband Les of Enid; two grandchildren, Rachel and Tanner Bailey, of Enid; three sisters, Christine Koehn and husband Orville of Enid, Dolores Kenney and husband Tom of Cape Coral, Florida, and Lorraine Watson of Enid; and several nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Jimmy Everest Cancer Center.
