            The funeral for David E. Tribble, age 77, will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Dan Barrick officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            David was born to John Carl and Martha Susan (Larkey) Tribble on October 16, 1930, in Ringwood, Oklahoma and died Friday, March 14, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid.

            He grew up and attended school in Enid, graduating in 1948.  On December 24, 1950, he married Arduth Marie Sparks, and they made their home in Enid.  David worked for Union Equity in the scale house until his retirement.  He then worked in maintenance for Sandpiper Apartments.   His wife Arduth died in June 2005.   He later married Cherry Harley, and they made their home in Enid.  He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

            David is survived by his wife Cherry of the home; son Don Tribble and wife Deborah of Enid; daughter Teresa Bellis and husband Danial of Squeim, WA; stepchildren, James Kelsey of Portland OR, Jean Boom of Estacada, OR, and Richard Streit of Fairview, OR; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother Paul Tribble of Owasso; and five sisters, Esther Ingels of Enid, Bettie Pearcy of Waukomis, Dorotha Phelps of Collinsville, Naomi Tribble and Gracie Tribble, both of Mesquite, TX.

            He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arduth.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Assembly of God Church Peru Missions
