A funeral service for
David Franklin Burshik,
age 63, of Hennessey,
will be at 10:00 A.M.
Saturday, December 2,
2006, at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev.
Vernon Lee officiating.
Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery,
with arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
He was born to Frank and
Frances L. (Fuksa)
Burshik on November 13,
1943, in Enid, and died
Tuesday, November 28,
2006, at his home in
Hennessey.
He grew up in Oklahoma
City, and graduated from
Putnam City High
School. On October 22,
1962, he married Bonnie
Adell Mauldin in
Oklahoma City. He owned
and operated Pet-A-Rama
Pet Store in Enid for
the past twenty-three
years. He was a member
of Open Door Independent
Baptist Church.
David is survived by one
daughter, Debbie Burshik
Clark of Enid; two sons,
Linus Burshik and
Sheldon Burshik, both of
Enid; his mother,
Frances Burshik of Enid;
six grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; two
sisters, Jean Craig of
Stanwood, Washington,
and Delphia Graham of
Everett, Washington.
He was preceded in death
by his father Frank
Burshik, his wife Bonnie
Burshik, one daughter,
Lisa Burshik Divis, and
one grandson, Ernest
Divis.
Memorials may be made
through the funeral home
to Open Door Independent
Baptist Church.
