A graveside memorial service for Debbie Lynn Thorp, age 50, of Garber, will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the Garber Cemetery, with Rev. Tom LeGrand officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.  There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

She was born to Gerald and Eleanor T. (Moen) Palmer on January 20, 1957, in Enid, and passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid.

Debbie grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1975.  On December 22, 1975, she married Daniel V. Thorp in Perry, and they made their home in Enid.  She worked at the Enid State School for nine years.  In 1987, the family moved to the Dallas Metro area, and she worked for Texas Instruments and E-Systems.  They moved to Garber in 1990.  Debbie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and fondly referred to her granddaughter as “My Baby Girl”.

She is survived by her husband Daniel of the home; sons Mike Thorp and Jodie of Garber and Jason Thorp and Kristin Francis of Oklahoma City; daughter Katherine Thorp of the home; one grandchild; and one sister, Sharryl Davis and husband Jack of Nevada, TX and their son, Chad Davis of Dallas, TX.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
