A graveside service for
Karen Francis Robbins Delanoy, age 68, of
Frisco, TX, formerly of
Enid, will be at 10:00
A.M. Saturday, October
11, 2008, at Memorial
Park Cemetery. Rev. Ted
Kuschel will officiate. Arrange-ments
are by Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home.
Visitation will be
Friday from 2:00 to
9:00 P.M. at the funeral
home.
Karen was born
to Don and Corrine
Francis on November 6,
1939, in Enid, and
passed away October 3,
2008, in Frisco, TX,
after a short battle
with cancer.
Karen grew up in
Enid and graduated from
Enid High School in 1957
and Enid Business
College in 1959. She
married Gene Robbins in
1959, and they made
their home in Enid.
Karen later moved to
Colorado and was married
to Norman Delanoy in
1965. She was a realtor
with Century 21 for ten
years, where she was
consistently a top
producer and received
many prestigious awards.
In 1985, Karen
moved to Irving, Texas.
Her love for animals led
her to own and operate a
pet sitting and animal
rescue business.
Karen is survived
by her daughter
Gabrielle Schermer of
Frisco, TX; two sons,
Brady Lee Robbins, DVM. of
Tulsa, OK, and Gregory
Blake Delanoy of Arlington,
TX; six grandchildren;
her mother Corrine
Francis of Enid; one
sister LaDonna Francis
of Oklahoma City; and
one brother Jim Francis
of Enid.
She was preceded
in death by her father
and one brother.
