The funeral
for Delmer G. Koehn, age
81, of Enid, will be at
10:00 A.M. Saturday,
February 9, 2008, at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev.
Christopher Hall
officiating. Burial
will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
He was born
to Pete and Pauline
(Eck) Koehn on June 24,
1926, in Major County,
and died Tuesday,
February 5, 2008, at his
home in Enid.
He grew up
in Ringwood, and
graduated from Ringwood
High School. On April
18, 1954, he married
Mary K. Capps at the
Central Christian Church
in Enid. They made
their home in Enid,
where he worked for
Baker Manufacturing
Company for forty years
until his retirement.
He was a member of
Redeemer Lutheran
Church, Sooner Riders
Motorcycle Club, and
enjoyed attending the
First Nazarene Church
SAMS Club meetings. He
rebuilt water pumps, and
spent a lot of his time
working in his shop. He
also enjoyed gardening,
bowling, fishing and
bluegrass and gospel
music.
Delmer is
survived by his wife
Mary of the home;
daughter Kathy Hessel
and husband Gary of
Enid; brother Clayton
Koehn of Enid; and
sister Janece Krkesska
of Wichita, KS.
He was
preceded in death by his
parents, one brother,
and two sisters.
Memorials
may be made through the
funeral home to Redeemer
Lutheran Church or
Hospice Circle of Love.
