The funeral for Delores
Ruth Williamson, age 79,
will be at 12:00 noon
Monday, September 15,
2008, at Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home Chapel,
with Rev. Carl Roberts
officiating. Burial
will follow in Memorial
Park Cemetery with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
She was born to Logan D.
and Effie D. (Williams)
Smith on September 1,
1929 in Enid, Oklahoma,
and died Tuesday,
September 9, 2008, at
Integris Bass Baptist
Medical Center in Enid.
Delores grew up in Enid,
and attended Enid
Schools. She began
working for Boeing in
Wichita, Kansas, and
then returned to Enid.
She attended Autry
Vo-Tech, where she
learned to be a keypunch
operator. She then
worked as an accounting
clerk for Champlin
Refinery. When the
Champlin Refinery closed
in Enid, she transferred
to Ft. Worth to work
until her retirement in
1986, and then returned
to Enid to live. She
attended Harvest Time
Church. Delores
enjoyed bowling,
knitting, traveling, and
ballroom dancing.
She is survived by one
son, Ron Luper of Enid;
two grandchildren,
Brandon Luper and Misty
Krichick; four
great-grandchildren,
Baylee, Thomas, Kaleb &
Brianna.
Delores was preceded in
death by her parents,
two brothers, Vernon and
Wayne Smith.
Memorials may be made
through the funeral home
to Harvest Time Church.
