A graveside service for Dennis Leroy Winfield, age 58, will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 16, 2007, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with  Pastor Rick Dominic officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

            Denny was born to Elmer Roy and Georgia (Wirth) Winfield on February 1, 1949, in Enid, and passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at St. Mary’s Health Center in Enid.

            Denny grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School.  He worked at Vance Air Force Base at the NCO Club, and later as a mechanic at the motor pool until his retirement.  Denny enjoyed being with his family and friends, and he will be missed by all of those who loved him and enjoyed his company.

            He is survived by four sisters, Ruth Friend and Linda Estill, both of Enid, Janet Kale of Kingfisher, and Treva Lewellen and husband Dee of Edom, TX; three brothers, Bob Winfield and wife Karen of Colorado Springs, CO, Randy Winfield and wife Kim of Enid, and Tom Winfield and wife Ruth of Enid; and several nieces and nephews.

            He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Diabetes Divison.
