     The graveside service for Maxine Miller Dillinger, age 89, will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 2, 2009, at South Mound Methodist Episcopal Cemetery in South Mound, Kansas, with Rev. Debi Lorenz officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

     She was born to Scott and Marie (Burkhart) Miller on December 30, 1919, northwest of Quinlan, and passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 in Enid.

     Maxine went to school at Silver Springs and Freedom schools.  On August 29, 1939, she married Carl Dillinger in Erie, Kansas.  They made their home in Kansas, and later moved to the Freedom, OK area   Maxine was a homemaker and mother, and participated in P.T.A. when her daughters were in school.  The couple later retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas.  She was a member of Bella Vista Christian Church.  She was the best mother and grandmother ever, and will be greatly missed by all.

     She is survived by her husband Carl of the home; two daughters, Carlene Ali and Jo Ann Johnson and her husband Jim, all of Enid; three grandchildren, Kayla Zelnicek and husband Ryan, and their twin sons Hudson and Hayden, of Enid  and Deana Ali, Micheal Ali and his wife Mandy and their sons, Abudi and Ollie, all of Kuwait; three sisters, Lois Rodell of Sand Springs, Ruby Ricks of Washington, IN, and Verda Gantz, of Mooreland; two sisters-in-law, Idabelle Snoblen and Norma Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

    Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, twin infant sons, two brothers, Loren and Delmar, and one sister, Bonnie.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Alzheimers Division
