A graveside service for Donald Eugene Rush, age 74, of Pauls Valley, formerly of Enid, will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Enid Cemetery Chapel, with Captain Cameron Henderson officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            He was born to Nelson James and Mary Elizabeth (Geist) Rush on November 14, 1932, in Ringwood, and died Monday, March 5, 2007, at Pauls Valley Hospital in Pauls Valley, OK.

            Donald grew up in the Enid area, and made deliveries for a local drug store.  He is survived by his sister, Hazel Lavera Rush Hinds and husband Marvin H. Hinds of Marion, Indiana, niece Kay Linn Alter, and nephew David Hinds, and other nieces and nephews.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Geraldine Rush and Cleo Rush Lee; brother-in-law Chet Lee; twin brothers, Ellis and Willis Rush; and sisters-in-law, Hazel Lee Rush and Ruby Cain Rush; half sisters, Christine, Pauline and Mary Virginia Cross; and half brothers Clarence, Clifford and Raymond Cross.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Washita Valley Living Center of Pauls Valley or The Salvation Army of Enid.
