A graveside service for Donald Neal Francis, age 89, of Enid, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 25, 2008 in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Choate officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction on Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            Donald was born to R.P. and Ida Elizabeth (Mitchell) Francis in Wakita, Oklahoma on July 7, 1918, and died on Saturday June 21, 2008 in Enid.

            Donald grew up in Wakita, and later moved to Enid where he graduated from Enid High School in 1936.  On March 19, 1939 he married Corrine Seltenreich in Enid at the Methodist Parsonage.  They made their home in Enid, where he worked from 1939 to 1963 as the owner and operator of his trucking business.  He then went to work at Failings for sixteen years, retiring in 1983.  Donald was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

            Donald is survived by his wife Corrine of the home; one son Jim Francis of Enid; two daughters LaDonna Francis of Oklahoma City, and Karen Delanoy of Frisco, Texas; 3 Grandchildren; and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and 1 son.
