Funeral services for Doris L. Lynch Thompson Straw, age 76, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday June 2, 2008 at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Richard Dunn will officiate.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

            Doris was born on April 18, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Ok., to her parents Harold Wilson and Jessie Pearl (Turner) Lynch, and died on May 29, 2008 in Oklahoma City.

            She graduated from Enid High in 1951, and worked at Bass Hospital as a Communications Clerk for over ten years.  On May 4, 1978 she married Kenneth Straw in Enid.  Doris also worked for Home Health Care Agencies until she had to quit due to health issues.  In 1994 they moved to Oklahoma City.  Doris was a member of Eastern Star, and she loved playing the piano.

            Doris is survived by her husband Ken of the home; one daughter Sherry Litson; one son Harold T. Thompson, both of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two nieces Norma Taney, and Wendy Hatfield, both of Oklahoma City.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers.
