The funeral service for Dorothy Buckmaster, age 77, will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at the First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Marilyn Murray officiating.  Private family burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  The casket will be open only at the funeral home for viewing.

            She was born to Pete and Lena (Jantz) Becker on September 26, 1930 in Goltry, and died Sunday, January 20, 2008, at The Methodist Home in Enid.

            Dorothy grew up in Goltry . On October 14, 1955, she married James Buckmaster in Enid, and they made their home in Enid.  She worked as a medical records clerk at St. Mary’s Hospital until her retirement.  Dorothy was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

            She is survived by two daughters, LaDonna Clover and husband Lester, and Yvonne Chapman and husband Jeff, all of Enid; four grandchildren, Cody Clover of Okla. City, Kaylee Clover, Jasie Randol and husband Mike, and Abby Chapman, all of Enid; one brother Eugene Becker of Washington; and two sisters, Martha Swanson and Irene Hill, both  of Enid.

            Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband James and brother Reuben Becker.
