    A funeral service for Jack Dale Dugan, age 75, of Enid will be 2:00 P.M. Friday April 24, 2009, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shorty Unruh officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.           

    Jack was born to Luther Earnest and Ruby Irene (Angel) Dugan on January 22, 1934 in Center, Ok, and died on Tuesday April 21, 2009 in Enid.

    He moved to Borger, TX where he attended High School and met the love of his life Nettie Maxine McWhorter.  On February 9, 1952 he married Maxine in Borger, TX.  He entered the United State Air Force on October 4, 1955 and served until May 7, 1962.  They moved to Enid where he worked as an Air Craft Mechanic at Vance Air Force Base for several years, and then worked at Champlin Refinery.  They moved to Eufaula Lake where he started Jack’s Small Engine Repair, until his retirement.  He attended church at Checotah Church of Christ.  In 1996 they moved back to Enid and in 2008 they moved to Golden Oaks.  Jack was a member of several coffee clubs, enjoyed fishing and treasure hunting.  The greatest joy of his life was spending time with his family. 

    He is survived by his wife Maxine Dugan of the home; three daughters Dalene Hueppelsheuser and husband Jerry of Enid, Karon Cross and husband Donnie of Manford, OK, and Susan Purdy and husband Vernon of Enid; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and one on the way; 2 brothers Dean Dugan of Missouri, and Jerry Dugan of Arkansas; and 2 sisters Elva Griffin Cheatwood of Oklahoma City, and Clara Darnell of Enid.

    He was preceded in death by his parents  Memorial may be made to O.M.R.F.-Alzheimer’s Division
