The funeral
service for Edward Lee
Kelley, age 77, of Enid,
will be at 10:30 A.M.
Wednesday, November 28,
2007, at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev.
Richard Fleig
officiating. Burial
will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
He was born
to Lee Douglas and Zola
Marie (Wheeler) Kelley
on March 25, 1930, in
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma,
and died Sunday,
November 25, 2007, at
his home at Canton Lake.
Ed grew up
in Wagoner and attended
Wagoner High School. On
December 4, 1949, he
married M. Ruth Hughes
in Enid. He was a
firefighter with the
Enid Fire Department
until his retirement in
1974. He also was the
owner/operator of Ed
Kelley Electric
Company. He was a
member of the Enid
Civitan Club, Elks, and
Moose Lodge.
He is
survived by his wife
Ruth of the home; son Ed
Kelley and wife Donna of
Wagoner; daughter
Marilyn Sullivan and
husband Larry of
Hillsdale; seven
grandchildren; one
brother Donald Lloyd
Kelley of Enid ; and two
sisters, Ann Simpson of
Tulsa and Sue Ingold of
Broken Arrow.
He was
preceded in death by his
parents, son Mark, and
granddaughter
Kelly.
Memorials
may be made through the
funeral home to National
Firefighters Museum in
Oklahoma City.
