A graveside service for Elmer Levi Froese, age 88, will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at the Memorial Park Garden Chapel, with Rev. Stanley Jenkins officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            He was born to Franz J. and Anna (Wedel) Froese on September 24, 1919 near Clinton, and died Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid.

            On October 15, 1955, he married Dora Louise Beck at Olive Chapel Church.  They made their home in Enid.  Elmer worked for the Enid Stockyards, City of Enid Water Department, and in construction.  He was a member of Grace Mennonite Church.

            Surviving are his wife Dora, two daughters, Verna Ann Froese of Lawrence, KS, and Louise Marie Froese of Oklahoma City, and two nephews.
