Elsie was born September 13, 1933 in Goltry, to George William and Carrie Koons.   She went to be with her Savior March 27, 2008.

She graduated from Goltry High School and on August 28, 1951, she married Jerry Ray Harman at the Zoar Mennonite Church.  They lived most of their lives in Enid and retired to the Meno area.  They worshipped at Temple Baptist Church.
