A funeral service for Felix L. Stanley, age 71, of Enid will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday February 18, 2008 at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Pastor Dan Luskey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery with military honors by the Vance Air Force Base Honor Guard.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            Felix was born on September 12, 1936 in Mocksville, North Carolina to William H and Lillie Mae (Trivette) Stanley, and died on February 14, 2008 in Enid.

            Felix married Vera Clark on July 13, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force on June 28, 1956.  He served for two tours in Vietnam and one tour in Alaska, and then he was stationed at Vance Air Force Base for fifteen years.  Felix was discharged from the service on February 29, 1976. 

            Felix is survived by his wife Vera Clark of the home; two daughters Katherine Emery of Oklahoma City, and Karla Simpson of Marshall; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister Hazel Grose of Mocksville, North Carolina.     

            He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Kenneth Stanley, and three brothers.
