Celebration of Life for
Terry Fetty, 53, of
Kingfisher, will be
Wednesday, July 28th
at 6:30 p.m. at the
Meadowlake Golf Course.
There will be a
visitation Tuesday, from
6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at
the funeral home.
Cremation arrangements
are by Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home and
Crematory, Enid.
Terry was
born on June 6, 1957 in
St. Joseph, Missouri to
David Lee and Joanne
Ellis Fetty, and died in
his sleep in the early
morning hours on
Saturday July 24, 2010
at his home beside the
Cimarron River near
Kingfisher. Terry spent
his last afternoon on
earth playing golf with
a group of his closest
friends.
On June 26,
1981, he married Janelle
Nutter in Enid, where
they made their home.
Terry worked at Vance
Air Force Base, for
twenty-six years, where
he received the superior
performance award and
several lightening bolt
awards. He was
instrumental in starting
the T-6 program at
Vance. He loved golf,
hunting, and fishing.
Terry was a member of
the Akdar Shrine and was
a 32nd degree mason.
Terry’s life on earth
was too short, but he
lived it to the fullest
with an exuberance that
few matched..
He was
preceded in death by his
mother.
He is
survived by his wife,
Janelle; two daughters,
Rashelle Fetty and
fiancé John Phillips,
both of Virginia Beach,
Virginia, and Karissa
and husband, Ruben
Padilla, Enid; one
granddaughter, Elena
Padilla; father, Dave
Fetty and his wife,
Mary, St. Joseph, MO;
brother, Tim Fetty, St.
Joseph, MO; sister
Jackie Smith, St.
Joseph, MO; other
relatives and an
abundance of friends.
In lieu of flowers the
family suggest memorials
be made through the
funeral home to Enid
SPCA or Oklahoma Medical
Research Foundation.
