A Celebration of Life for Terry Fetty, 53, of Kingfisher, will be Wednesday, July 28th at 6:30 p.m. at the Meadowlake Golf Course.  There will be a visitation Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.

Terry was born on June 6, 1957 in St. Joseph, Missouri to David Lee and Joanne Ellis Fetty, and died in his sleep in the early morning hours on Saturday July 24, 2010 at his home beside the Cimarron River near Kingfisher. Terry spent his last afternoon on earth playing golf with a group of his closest friends.

On June 26, 1981, he married Janelle Nutter in Enid, where they made their home.  Terry worked at Vance Air Force Base, for twenty-six years, where he received the superior performance award and several lightening bolt awards.  He was instrumental in starting the T-6 program at Vance.  He loved golf, hunting, and fishing.  Terry was a member of the Akdar Shrine and was a 32nd degree mason.  Terry’s life on earth was too short, but he lived it to the fullest with an exuberance that few matched..

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife, Janelle;  two daughters, Rashelle Fetty and fiancé John Phillips, both of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and  Karissa and husband, Ruben Padilla, Enid; one granddaughter, Elena Padilla; father, Dave Fetty and his wife, Mary, St. Joseph, MO; brother, Tim Fetty, St. Joseph, MO; sister Jackie Smith, St. Joseph, MO; other relatives and an abundance of  friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made through the funeral home to Enid SPCA or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
