Traditional Service: A funeral service where the casket is present at the church or chapel. The service is preceded by one or two days visitation and viewing at the funeral home. Traditional services usually include scripture readings, music, eulogy and a sermon. After the service, there is a procession to the cemetery for the committal service.
Committal (Graveside) Service: A brief ceremony at the gravesite that follows the funeral service. If there is only a service at the graveside (no funeral service), it may include scripture reading and eulogy.
Memorial Service: This is a service when the deceased is not present. A memorial service may be used following earth burial or cremation. It may be held at a church, funeral home chapel, family home, event center or even outdoors. It is often a time when personal memories are shared and gives the family and friends time to be together to comfort each other.
Traditional Service followed by Cremation: This allows the family to have visitation, viewing and a traditional funeral service, which is followed by cremation.
Direct Cremation: With this service there is no visitation or funeral service.
Cremation Services with Viewing Options: There are several options for the family to have viewing and visitation for specified times followed by cremation.
Direct Burial: This type of service does not include visitation or funeral service. The body is placed in a casket, and the casket is transported to the cemetery for immediate burial. There are no graveside rites, and is done at the convenience of the funeral home.
Eco-Friendly Green Options: We offer "green" burial options including a eco-friendly casket with refrigeration instead of embalming. For cremation, we also offer biodegradable urns which are suitable for earth burial or burial at sea.
