A memorial
service for Frances
Hertha Warner, age 92,
of Enid, will be held at
4:00 p.m. Friday,
January 25, 2008 at
Burgandy Place, with
Mike Weatherford
officiating. In April
the family will have
another memorial service
in Denver, Colorado.
Cremation arrangements
were by Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home and
Crematory.
Frances was
born on January 20,
1916, in Quincy,
Illinois to Raymond and
Isabelle (McAtee) Perry
and died on January 22,
2008 in Greenbrier
Nursing Home in Enid.
At the age
of eleven Frances moved
to Denver, CO where she
graduated from East High
School, and Women’s
College. On April 16,
1938 she married Clyde
W. Warner in Denver,
and they made their
home in Elko, Nevada.
With Clyde’s government
job, they lived in
several cities,
including Los Angeles,
CA, Corcoran, CA, and
Macon, GA. While
residing in Lakewood,
CO, Clyde died. Frances
moved to Enid in 2005
and lived at Burgandy
Place. She was Past
Matron of the Eastern
Star, Stardust Chapter,
Commerce City, CO.
Frances enjoyed
gardening.
She is
survived by her
daughter, Judith Brannan
and husband Maurice, of
Enid; daughter-in-law,
Mary Jo Sisk of
Lakewood, CO; five
grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; one
great, great grandchild;
and one sister, Dorothy
Edwards of Longmont, CO.
Frances was
preceded in death by
husband Clyde, son Clyde
P. Warner, one brother,
and three sisters.
