Frederick
William McKool was born
to Fred and Elizabeth M.
(Steedle) McKool on
February 3, 1941, in
Pittsburgh, PA, and died
Saturday, December 15,
2007, at his home in
Enid.
He grew up
in Pittsburgh, and then
graduated from
Vanderbilt University.
He earned his Masters
Degree in Chemical
Engineering at
Carnegie-Mellon
University in
Pittsburgh. He came to
Oklahoma to work at
Conoco in Ponca City,
and later moved to Enid
when he retired. He
enjoyed traveling, and
had visited China,
India, Arabia, Mexico,
South America, Middle
East, Africa, Europe,
Iceland and Central
America.
He is
survived by his mother,
Elizabeth McKool of
Pittsburgh, PA; three
sisters, Dorothy J.
Hazen of Chagrin Falls,
OH, Carol Marlin of
Pittsburgh, PA, and
Kathleen McKool of
Boston, MA; one brother
William J. McKool of
Flemington, NJ; and
eight nieces and
nephews.
He was
preceded in death by his
father, Fred McKool.
