service for Gerald Lee
Wainman, age 61, will be
at 11:00 A.M. Monday,
January 21, 2008, at
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel. Cremation
arrangements are by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home and Crematory.
There will be no viewing
or visitation at the
funeral home.
He was born
to Harry William and
Thelma (Russel) Wainman
on April 19, 1946, in
Hartford, Connecticut,
and died Saturday,
January 19, 2008, in
Enid, OK.
Gerald grew
up in Simsbury,
Connecticut. He served
in the United States
Army in Vietnam. On
December 21, 1968, he
married Gertude (Trudy)
Pack, and they made
their home in Enid. He
was a truck driver and
had many truck-driving
friends. He also loved
fishing.
He is
survived by his wife
Trudy; two sons Donald
Lee Wainman and Willie
Lee Wainman, all of
Enid; one grandson
Donavan Wainman of
Bethany; three sisters,
Janice Kahl of Pine
Meadows, CT, Debbie
McWilliams of Las Vegas,
NV, and Angie McWilliams
of Arizona; five
brothers, Robert Wainman
of Muskogee, Bernard
Wainman, Walter Wainman
and Lawrence Wainman,
all of Connecticut, and
Joseph McDonald of
Tucson, AZ; and many
nieces and nephews.
He was
preceded in death by his
parents and two
brothers, William and
Wallace “Joe” Wainman.
