She was born
to Ranzo and Anna
(Wilson) McKinnon on
Sept. 11, 1921, in
Weleetka, and died
Tuesday, March 25, 2008,
in Enid.
Geri married
Billie Smart on August
3, 1946 in Gainesville,
TX. Due to Billie’s
job, they lived in
various towns in
Oklahoma. Geri was a
homemaker and
stay-at-home mom. She
later worked at ASCS
Office in Cherokee.
After Billie’s
retirement, they moved
to Enid. After Billie’s
death, she moved to
Greenbrier Residential
Living, where she made
many good friends. Her
favorite pastime was
fishing. While in
Cherokee, she was a
member of First Baptist
Church, and then
Emmanuel Baptist Church
in Enid. Her family
will remember her as a
loving wife, mother,
grandma and
great-grandma, who will
be greatly missed. Geri
enjoyed a wonderful life
here on earth, but with
her faith in her Lord
and Savior, she was
secure knowing that she
would have a home with
Him for eternity.
She leaves
to cherish her memory
three children, Ronnie
Smart and wife Pam,
James Smart and wife
Vicky, all of Enid,
Jeanne Ginder and
husband Mark of
Cherokee; one sister,
Ann Saville of Velma;
grandchildren, Krystal
Kobs and husband Brian,

Marsha, Bo Ginder and
wife Heidi, Casey and
Kelli Smart;
great-grandchildren,
Daylen & Khalli Rivers,
Kymbri and Brilynn Kobs,

She was
preceded in death by her
husband Billie, daughter
Donna Smith, two
grandchildren Kentra and
Travis Ginder, two
sisters Jean Morton and
Delores Townsend, and
one brother, Ronnie
McKinnon.
Memorials
may be made through the
funeral home to Emmanuel
Baptist Church.
