A graveside service for Gladys E. Streck, age 83, will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Memorial Park Garden Chapel, with Pastor Terry Chick officiating.   Arrangements are by the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

            She was born to E. Charles and Roxy Lee (Smallwood) Lee on April 1, 1923, in Hennessey, and died Sunday, March 11, 2007, in Enid.

             She grew up in and attended schools in Hennessey. On July 4, 1939, she married James M. Streck in Hennessey.  Gladys was a homemaker, and an excellent seamstress.  She loved her children and grandchildren.

            Gladys is survived by five children, James Lee Streck and wife Sue of Nevada, Charles Michael Streck and wife Sue of Tulsa, Daniel Graig Streck and wife Sharon, Debbie Lynn Streck, and Sherry Ann Streck, all of Enid; one brother Charles E. Lee of Lees Summit, MO; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

            She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Cancer Division.
