A Memorial Service for Glendore Grace Elfstrum, age 78, will be held at a later date in South St. Paul, Minnesota.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. 

            She was born to Francis Joseph and Grace Emma (Tessmer) Elfstrum on October 31, 1928, in Mankota, Minnesota, and died Monday, May 21, 2007, at Golden Oaks Retirement Center in Enid.

            Glendore grew up in Minnesota, attending school there.  She resided in South St. Paul, where she worked in housekeeping at hospitals.  She was a member of the First Methodist Church.  In 2002, she moved to Enid, to be near her family.  She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her grandson.

            She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Pankonin and husband George of Enid; one grandson, Joseph; four brothers, Robert Elfstrum and wife Kathy of Cottage Grove, MN, Richard Elfstrum of Verndale, MN, Harland Elfstrum of Enid, and Alain Elfstrum of South St. Paul, MN; and three sisters, Betty Hoye of Rose Mount, MN, Patricia Groebner and husband Don of Montrose, Iowa, and Charlotte Merchlewitz and husband David of Cottage Grover, MN.
