Robert
Gerhardt Graf went to
join his Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ,
and his dear wife,
Claudia on
Sunday, March 29, 2009.
Robert was born to
Robert C. and Louise (Burdorf)
Graf in Lahoma, Oklahoma
on August 24, 1917. He
attended Lahoma schools
and Oklahoma A & M
University (now OSU).
Robert served in the
United States Air Force
as a B-24 pilot in World
War II. Prior to
marrying Claudia
Davidson in 1959, he
cared for his mother and
maintained the family
farm. After farming in
the Lahoma area, Robert
and Claudia moved to
Enid in
1971 where he served as
Garfield County Clerk
for many years.
Robert was a volunteer
at
Integris Baptist
Hospital and Meals on
Wheels. He was a member
of the VFW, American
Legion, the Gideons, and
the Kiwanis Club, where
he was a past President.
He was also a member of
Redeemer Lutheran
Church, serving as an
elder and a Sunday
School teacher. In
2005, he moved to The
Arbors where he served
as “Resident
Ambassador”.
Robert was preceded in
death by his wife,
Claudia, and his sister
Edna Gertrude and his
brother Victor Vincent.
He is fondly remembered
by his nephews and
nieces Jim Thomas, Vicki
Graf, Ruth Uchtmann,
Doris Mueller, Wally
Lobitz, James Lobitz,
and Mark Lobitz, great
nieces and nephews,
great great nieces and
nephews and his
“granddaughter” Nelaina
Strache and her family
as well as many cousins
and friends.

Redeemer Lutheran Church
in Enid, the Gideons
International or the
Enid Kiwanis Club.

Funeral services will be
held at Redeemer
Lutheran Church on
Sunday, April 5, 2009 at
2pm. Burial will be in
Zion Lutheran Cemetery
in Lahoma with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home.
