Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.


Service: Saturday Aug. 25th, 2007  2:00pm

Cemetery: West New Hopedale Cemetery

            The funeral service for Harry Dee Koehn, age 87, of Ringwood, will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Central Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Steve Lance officiating.  Burial will be in the West New Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

            He was born to Adam B. and Esther (Unruh) Koehn on May 22, 1920 in Taloga, and died Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid.

            His family moved to Meno in 1934, and he graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in Meno.  On November 16, 1940, he married Ina Josephine Smith in Fairview, and they made their home in Ringwood.  He worked for Pillsbury Mills in Enid for sixteen years and farmed in the Ringwood area.  He also worked for Timberlake-Helena Public Schools for thirty-five years, retiring in 2006.  He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church., Enid.

            Harry is survived by his wife, Ina of the home; two sons, Kenneth R. Koehn and Ivan L. Koehn, both of Enid; two daughters, Myrna Joyce Thorp of Enid, and Sheryl June Coffey of Fairview; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister Nelda Mae Koehn of  Ringwood.                  

            He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, one brother and one sister.

            Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Central Assembly of God Church Missionary Fund.
