The funeral service for Virginia Mae Hindman, age 74, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Jackson officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. 

            She was born to Arthur and Eva Mae (Alexander) Rush on June 10, 1935, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and died Sunday, January 10, 2010 in Enid. 

            Virginia grew up in Oregon.  On November 10, 1999, she married Paul Hindman, and they moved to Enid in 2000.  She enjoyed going to auctions, garage sales, and thrift stores, shopping for antiques, collectibles, and cookie jars.  She enjoyed playing shuffleboard and pool.  Virginia was a very helpful person and caregiver. 

            She is survived by two daughters, Loretta Northrop of Enid, and Ladeana Keller of Wichita, KS; two sons, Earl Norman Delano of Enid, and Timothy C. Parker of California; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister Marie Johnson of Portland, OR. 

            Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Paul, one brother, and two sons.
