Betty Sue Hobson, age
70, will be at 10:00
A.M. Saturday, October
11, 2008, at the
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev.
Randal Hackworth
officiating. Burial
will be at 3:00 P.M. in
the Fairlawn Cemetery in
Elk City, with
arrangements by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home. Visitation with
family and friends will
be held at the funeral
home Friday from 6:30
p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
She was born to Luther
Eddie and Etha Faye
(Gresham) Crawford on
January 21, 1938, in Elk
City, and died Thursday,
October 9, 2008, in
Enid.
Betty grew up in Elk
City and attended from
Elk City High School.
She was baptized in the
Northeast Baptist Church
in Ardmore on April 10,
1960. She married Grady
Hobson in Oklahoma City,
and they made their home
in Milburn, Oklahoma,
moving to Enid in 1996.
Betty worked in retail
sales and was a
homemaker.
She is survived by her
mother, Etha Crawford of
Enid; two daughters,
Connie S. Chandler of
Oklahoma City, and
Teresa A. Evans of
Granbury, TX; two sons,
Gary Williamson of
Duncan and Cary L.
Williamson of Ardmore;
nine grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; one
brother, Jimmy Crawford
of Pawhuska; and two
sisters, Sandra Wilson
of Enid and Barbara
Bartel of Hutchinson,
KS.
Betty was preceded in
death by her husband
Grady Hobson, her father
Luther Crawford, and
brother Eddie Crawford.
