A family memorial service for Larry Steven Perks, age 60, of Enid, will be held at a later date.   Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. 

   Larry was born to Francis and Betty (Hudson) Perks on September 14, 1947 in Harlengan, Texas, and died Saturday, August 30, 2008, in Enid.

   He grew up in Enid and graduated from Memorial High School in 1966.  Larry served in the National Guard for six years from 1971 to 1977.  He worked in the oil field for several years and was also a contract painter.  Larry was employed at the Enid State School for ten years.

   He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Kokojan of Waukomis; two brothers, Mike Perks of Enid, and David Perks of Arkansas; and one grandson.

   Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Betty Perks and two brothers, Dennis and Gary Perks.
