The funeral for Jerry Don Smith, age 68, will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 2, 2008, at the Family Life Mission Church with Pastor Lyle Buller officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

        He was born to Albert H. and Hulda Hanna (Koehn) Smith on October 7, 1939 in Meno, and died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in Enid.

        Jerry graduated from Ringwood High School and attended Bible College.  On March 4, 1961, he married Maxine E. Humphrey at Bethany E.U.B. Church in Enid.  They  made their home in Enid, where Jerry was self-employed as a painter since 1970.  He was a member of Family Life Mission Church.

        He is survived by his wife, Maxine of the home; two sons, Darin W. Smith and wife Leahanna of Enid, and Monty Smith and wife Renea of Trout, LA.; six grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Caleb and MacKenzie Smith of Enid, and Ashley and Travis Smith of Trout, LA.; and one sister June Marlatt and husband John of Enid.

        Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hulda Smith.
