A Memorial Service for John Alvin Eaton, age 64, of Enid, will be held at a later date in Deland, Florida.  Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

            He was born to Murrel Edward and Lois Irene (Coburn) Eaton on November 3, 1943, in Enid, and died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at his home in Enid.

            John grew up in Enid, and graduated from Enid High School.  He then attended college at Muskogee .  On March 5, 1963, he married Loretta Bonafede in Belton, Texas.  They lived in New York, Muskogee, OK and Deland, Florida.  He worked as a motorcycle mechanic, painter and gunsmith.  They moved back to Enid in February 2008.

            He is survived by his wife Loretta of the home; daughter Patti Jodeit of New York; son John C. Eaton of Deland, Florida and Paul Cheng of Enid;  and three grandchildren, Tim, Andrea and Josephine.
