A funeral service for Barbara Jorene Jones, age 71, will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lester Lowry officiating.  Burial will be in Enid Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

     She was born to Howard Raymond and Juanita (Replogle) Crites on November 6, 1937, in Jefferson, and died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at her home in Enid.

     Barbara grew up in the Jet area and graduated from Jet High School.  On June 4, 1966, she married Ronald Jones in Enid, where they made their home.  She worked as a secretary for Enid Public Schools for thirty-nine years.  Barbara was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church.  She loved family trips to Branson.

     She is survived by her husband Ronald of the home; two daughters, Joleta Clark of Enid, and Marjel Crow and husband Steve of Enid; five grandchildren, Victoria, Gabrielle, Harrison, Jackson and Frances; one brother Denny Crites and wife Linda of Nowata; one sister, Sondra Hays and husband Bob of Enid; and three step-daughters, Gwendolyn Vance, Lynn Brown, and Lorrie Fansler, all of Wichita, KS.; and several nieces and nephews.

     Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Evangel Assembly of God Church.
