memorial service for
Misako Moriyama Kala,
age 66, will be at 3:00
P.M. Monday, November
10, 2008, at First
Assembly of God Church,
with Pastors Dan Barrick
and Marilyn Murray
officiating. Cremation
arrange-ments are by
Anderson-Burris Funeral
Home and Crematory.
Burial of the cremated
remains will be in
Hawaii at a later date.
She was born to
Matasaburo and Fumiyo
Moriyama on August 28,
1942 in Fukuokaken
-Kyushu, Japan, and died
Saturday, November 8,
2008 at her home in
Enid.
On Jan 8, 1969,
Misako married Alfred
Kupa Kala in Japan.
They moved to Enid in
1971.
She was a member of
First Assembly of God
Church, where she was a
member of the church
choir. Misako loved
God and her church
family. She enjoyed
reading her Bible,
singing, and spending
time in her garden.
She is survived by
her daughter, Blossom
Kala of Enid; her son
Clayton Kala and wife
Nadine Kala, of Enid;
six grandchildren,
Karlissa Kala, MacKenzie
Lawson, Kohlton Kala,
Samson Kala, Colby Kala,
and Kahiau Kala; one
brother; and two
sisters.
Misako was preceded
in death by her parents,
her husband, and one
sister.
Memorials may be
made through the funeral
home to Hospice Circle
of Love or First
Assembly of God Church.
