A memorial service for Kathleen (Kathy) Rae Prewett, age 59 of Enid will be Tuesday February 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Dan O’Daniel will officiate.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.       

            Kathy was born on October 14, 1948 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Joseph and Lois Marie (Barker) Williams and died on February 14, 2008 in Enid.

             Kathy graduated from Enid High School in 1966.  She worked at ONG, and also at Williams Natural Gas Company.  On June 2, 1990 she married Jim Prewett in Enid, where they made their home.  Kathy graduated from vo-tech as a LPN in 1993.  She owned and operated New Beginnings Home Health Care here in Enid for the last eight years.  She was a member of Oakwood Christian Church.  Kathy was devoted to caring for others, and she especially loved getting to spend time with her grandchildren, whom she adored.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

            Kathy is survived by her four daughters, Debbie Simmons and husband Stacey of Kremlin, Christie Watkins and husband Matt of Carrier, Michelle Gilbert and husband Brandon of Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., and Jennifer Childers and husband James of Little Rock, Ark.; eleven grandchildren; a brother Dewayne Williams of Enid; two sisters Helena Gappa of Stillwater, and Connie Johndrow of Enid.

            She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Williams and Lois Dalke, and her husband Jim.
