The funeral services for Ronald “Ron” Koehn, age 59, of Enid, will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday June 12, 2009, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home with James Kilpatrick, Jr. officiating.  Entombment will following in the Enid Cemetery Mausoleum with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

     Ron was born to Lawrence and Alvina (Smith) Koehn in Okeene on May 22, 1950, and died on Tuesday June 9, 2009 in Enid.

     He grew up in north central Oklahoma, and south central Kansas; graduating from Caldwell High School.  He worked for Central Machine and Tool for twenty years.  He met Willa Foster in 1982 and they were married on November 23, 1995 in Enid, where they made their home.  Ron worked with the Salvation Army Disaster team to help with hurricane Katrina.  He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and riding his trike.  

     He is survived by his wife Willa of the home; 6 children Ronald Foster, Jr. of Enid, Ramona Foster of Independence, KS, Rachelle Hamrick of Enid, Leslie Koehn, Michael Koehn, and Melinda Koehn all of Wellington, KS; his parents Lawrence and Alvina Koehn of Ringwood; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers Gary Koehn of Caldwell, KS, and Larry Koehn of Enid.

     Ron is preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

     Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
