A graveside service for Larry Wayne Long, age 51, of Mesa, Arizona, will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Kious officiating.  Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, Enid.

            He was born to Wayne and Lois H. (Berkenbile) Long on June 11, 1955, in Enid, and died Sept. 17, 2006, in Mesa, Arizona.          

            Larry attended schools in Woodward, and then Kemper Military Academy.  In 1974, he married Vanessa Moore.  Larry was in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1978, serving in the Vietnam war on the Midway Aircraft Carrier.   After his military service, he lived in Enid, Woodward, and Linsborg, KS, before moving to Mesa, where he worked in construction.

            He is survived by his mother, Lois Long, of Enid, one daughter, Cherrianne Long of Harrisburg, VA, special aunt, Freda Mulhall, uncles, and cousins.

            He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Long.
